Women committed to making a difference

This is only the beginning

We are a group of women who are interested in supporting our community,  the Greater Owosso Area, by contributing to local charities together, as a unit, to increase the impact.

We come from all walks of life and different financial backgrounds. As a group we have the ability to contribute to the growth of our community in ways that we never before thought possible.

We invite you to become a part of this powerful group to have a positive impact on those in need.

The first 100 Women Who Care group was formed in November of 2006 by Karen Dunigan of Jackson, Michigan.  At their first one-hour meeting the Jackson 100 Women Who Care group raised $10,000 to buy new baby cribs for an organization in their city . Their membership has now grown to nearly 300 members and other cities across the United States and Canada are forming groups.

100+ Women Who Care of the Greater Owosso Area was launched in January 2016  by Cindy Schluckebier, Sue Ludington, Lisa Hood and Becky Hartnagle.

The first voting meeting took place on February 29, 2016. We know this group has the capacity to grow even larger and help area charities in an even larger way.

Our members have donated $471,800.00 to our local community.  We are blessed with over 200 members who are committed to making a difference!
